Sports Premium
Sports Premium Funding
Physical Education and School sports is an area where all pupils can enjoy and achieve, building on a platform for life long physical activity in an environment where everyone can succeed and thrive.
At Hartlip Primary, the school sports funding will enable us to improve the quality & provision of physical education (PE) and sport for the benefit of all children.
Each year, our school is required to produce and publish a Pupil Premium Strategy Statement using the official Department for Education (DfE) template, as mandated for all state‑funded schools in England. This statement must be published on our website by 31 December and updated annually, even if we use a multi‑year strategy.
How We Store and Share a Copy of the Strategy
A full copy of our current Pupil Premium Strategy Statement is:
Published on this page of our website, in line with statutory requirements.
Prepared using the official DfE template to ensure compliance with all publishing expectations.

Summary of What Our Published Statement Includes
In line with government requirements, our published Pupil Premium Strategy Statement includes:
Our pupil premium allocation for the current academic year.
The main barriers to learning faced by our disadvantaged pupils.
How we intend to spend the funding and the rationale behind our chosen approaches.
How we measure impact and the date of the next strategy review.
A review of how last year’s funding was spent and the outcomes achieved.
This ensures our school meets all statutory website publishing requirements and clearly demonstrates how Pupil Premium funding supports our disadvantaged pupils.
